My First Blog Post

Hi, I'm Cambree Kay! This is my first blog page. I am almost 2 years old. I turn 2 on January 4th, 2009. I live at home with my mom, dad and my best friend Max (our goldendoodle dog)! I love playing with my friends, going shopping with mom and chasing dad and Max around our house. My mom added a ton of posts and pictures from when I was born until now. I hope you enjoy looking at them. From now on she said she would only add a few at a time so she doesn't overwhelm anyone. Please bookmark this page and check it often to watch me grow! Thanksgiving in St. Louis

Thanksgiving this year we decided to go to St. Louis to visit Aunt Shanie and Uncle Jer Bear! We followed Grandma and PaPa for 7 hours to get there. It was a long trip but I watched movies the whole time and loved it! We did a ton of fun things while we were there. I got to tour the Budweiser Brewery, see the Arch, shop with Grandma and mom, visit the Magic House and play at Dave and Busters! We had so much fun!!

Fall '08

At the end of August mom went back to work and I went back to Janet's during the day. Mom, Dad, Max and I went for walks almost every night since we had great weather. I went to the Apple Orchard for Apple Fest with Grandma and mom. We rode on a hayride and had a caramel apple sundae. I dressed up as a pink poodle for Halloween and went trick-or-treating around our neighborhood. It was a very warm night!

Blank Park Zoo and Lost Island

This summer mom, dad and I went to the Blank Park Zoo. I got to feed a giraffe a cracker, ride on a train, pet the animals at the petting zoo and feed the fish. I had a blast!







The same week I also got to go to Lost Island water park. PaPa turned 50 so we decided he needed a day off work to have some fun in the sun! Mom, Dad, Grandma, PaPa and I played in the water all day, went on the water slides and floated in the lazy river.

Swim Lessons

I took swimming lessons at the Country Club this summer with Andee and Emma. I had so much fun! I even learned to swim in the deep end with a noodle. My favorite part was getting a Larita's cookie the last day!

Summer Fun '08

Summer of '08 was so much fun. Mom had the whole summer off so we played almost everyday! We spent all of our time at the lake, country club, park or shopping. I did a ton of new things this summer. My favorite thing to do was to play on the walking trail at the lake. I loved to walk my babies in their stroller over there. We went to the pool usually a couple days each week where I would play with all of my friends. I am becoming quite the little swimmer. I even went off the diving board (head first one time and did a front flip)! We kept very busy. I went tubing for the first time behind the boat, daddy took me on the wave runner, we went to a lot of parties (I even got to dress up like a coygirl for one of them), and we went to every neighboring park around the lake and town. Mom, Dad, Grandma and PaPa took me for a wagon ride or bike ride almost everyday! I love swimming in the lake and going for boat rides. Grandma got me a little turtle pool that I take on the boat when it's hot out or I swim on the deck in it.

Sledding

My first time sledding was at Grandma and PaPa's house at the lake. We went out on the ice and PaPa pulled me in the sled. I had so much fun!

My First Birthday

My First Birthday party was a blast. I had an Elmo crash cake. It was the first time I had ever had cake, I wasn't that enthused with it. My grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends all came. I got a lot of fun presents, especially my wagon from Grandma and PaPa that I used all summer!

Highlights from 6 months to a Year!

6 months to a year was a busy time for me. I learned to eat baby food, play with my toys, ride my bike, crawl and became a blankie baby! I loved Christmas time!
